On Wednesday 1st March all the students in our school, together with some students in InstitutJosepVallverdú, went to El Pavelló de l’Oli in Les Borges Blanques to see a theatre production. The play was a particular version of the Shakespearean classic Macbeth.
The play was about Macbeth, a poor salesmen, which after being promoted, decided to kill the boss of the company where he was working, to get control of it. In fact at the beginning he didn’t want to kill his boss, he didn’t even want to become a boss himself, he was okay with the promotion he had got as a salesman manager. However, his wife, which was very greedy, didn’t stop until she forced him to commit the murder. Nevertheless, as it tends to happen, the couple’s alibi was found out by a clever member of the company. At the end, however, things didn’t finish as we would have liked, since the villain, lady Macbeth, was the one that got the best part and became boss of the company herself, as she had planned from the beginning.
There was a lot of fighting, killing, betrayal and falsehood from the very beginningtold from a comical point of view and students laughed a lot. We all enjoyed the play very much. The actors were very funny, they danced and sang gorgeously. At the end we also could interview the actors.
