The school decided that it would be a good idea to be part of an eTwinning project in order to help students improve their skills in English. Teachers have done some training to know how to use the different tools the eTwinning platform offers.
The English teachers in the school and 2nd ESO students are currently participating in an eTwinning project with a Polish school. The name of the school is Publiczna Szkoła Podstawowa w Pomieczyńskiej Hucie in Pomieczyńska Huta, Poland. The project is called I can Write. The aim of the project is to help students improve their writing skills.
So far, Polish students have sent us some letters to introduce themselves and our students have answered these letters using a padlet in the eTwinning webpage. Moreover, the two schools have exchanged some Christmas cards. Students from l’Olivera made digital Christmas cards with the ICT teacher and the cards were sent via email. Polish students have sent us some beautifully hand-made cards.
Students enjoy this project because they are getting to know boys and girls from another country. They also see that they share common interests and hobbies with their Polish colleagues.
